Acceptance of These Terms
Welcome to the website and the studio operated by Ambiance Esthetics, Professional LLC, a business located at 3072 S 4960 W, West Valley City - 84120-6797, United States (US). You can reach the studio by telephone at +16016234532 or by email at signal@ambiance.lat. By viewing any page of this site, by sending a message to us, by booking an appointment or by receiving any service from us, you agree to be bound by the terms that appear on this page.
Please read these Terms of Service carefully before you use the site or schedule a visit. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, we ask that you refrain from using our site and from booking our services. A short disagreement is far easier to settle before an appointment than after one, and we would rather be clear at the front door than confusing down the road.
These terms apply to your use of our public web pages and to the professional skin therapy and facial treatment services described on them. Where a separate written agreement applies to you, such as a signed consent form for a specific treatment, the specific terms of that form take priority over the general terms on this page to the extent they differ.
Changes to the Terms
We may revise these Terms of Service from time to time to reflect the way our studio actually works, changes in the services we offer or developments in the law. Each time we change them, we will update the effective date shown at the top of this page, and the revised terms will apply to activities that happen after that date.
We will not use changes to these terms to silently undermine an obligation we already owe you. Where a change is significant and concerns an upcoming booking you have already made, we will make a reasonable effort to tell you about it before it affects that booking.
Your continued use of our site or our services after a revised version becomes effective tells us that you have accepted the updated terms. If you do not accept them, we ask you to stop using the services and to let us know so that we can close out any existing appointment in an orderly way.
Who May Use Our Services
Our services are intended for adults who are able to make their own care decisions. To book a facial treatment with our studio, you should be at least eighteen years of age, and you should be of sound enough mind to understand the information we share with you and to consent to the treatment we propose.
If you would like to arrange a treatment for a guest who is younger than eighteen, a parent or legal guardian must make the booking and must be present during the consultation. The parent or guardian will be asked to confirm that they agree to the treatment on behalf of their child.
We reserve the right, in our reasonable judgment, to decline to treat a person when doing so would not be safe, would be outside our training or would be contrary to the requirements of our licensing body. Declining a service is never a judgment about you as a person; it is a judgment about the limits of what we can responsibly do.
Nature of Our Studio
Ambiance Esthetics, Professional LLC provides professional esthetics and skin therapy services in a clinical but comfortable studio setting. The services we offer, which include facial rituals, chemical peel programs, dermaplaning, exfoliation, LED therapy, microcurrent work and brow and lash artistry, are performed by trained practitioners acting within the scope of their esthetics license.
The studio also operates in professional service industries that include computer systems design and related services. This site presents our treatment menu and our practice philosophy, and it provides a way for you to reach our team. Nothing on this site is intended to replace a direct consultation with our practitioners or with a licensed professional who carries your care record.
By describing ourselves as a provider of professional and technical services, we are being straightforward about the character of our business. That description does not turn our facial treatments into medical procedures, and it does not remove your right to expect the same hygiene, consent and care standards that any responsible studio follows.
Appointments and Scheduling
All treatments are provided by appointment. We do our best to keep our schedule predictable and unhurried, which means we reserve a treatment bed for you, prepare the room for your service and set aside the full length of your session. To honor that commitment to you and to our other guests, we ask that you arrive on time and help us keep the day moving smoothly.
You may reach us to book, reschedule or confirm a visit through our contact email at signal@ambiance.lat, by telephone at +1 601 623 4532, or through the form on our contact page. When you book, we will confirm the date, the time, the service and the likely duration so that there is no confusion about what you have reserved.
We treat a confirmed appointment as a firm commitment from both sides. We will be ready for you at the time we agree, and we ask that you do the same. If you need to change your appointment, please give us as much notice as you reasonably can, using the notice periods described further down this page.
Booking Deposits and Fees
From time to time, and particularly for longer services or busy periods, we may ask you to pay a small booking deposit when you reserve a treatment. This deposit secures your time in our schedule, and it is applied toward the total price of your service on the day you visit.
If a deposit is charged, we will tell you the amount clearly before you commit to the booking, and we will explain how it is returned if you need to cancel. Where our cancellation rules require notice, a deposit is forfeited when you cancel with less than that notice and is fully refunded when you cancel within the allowed window or when we cancel for our own reasons.
Prices for each service are set out in our studio and are shared with you when you book. We take care to be accurate about pricing, and we will confirm the total before you begin so that there are no surprises at the end of your visit. Accepted methods of payment are those we list in the studio on the day of your appointment.
Consultations and Health Disclosure
Every service begins with a consultation. During this short conversation we ask you about your skin, your habits, the products you use and any health condition or medication that could affect how your skin responds to a treatment. The detail you share helps us choose a service that is safe for you and gives us the best chance of a pleasing result.
This is one conversation where honesty genuinely matters. If a previous treatment caused a reaction, if you have recently used a strong product such as retinol or a prescription peel, if you are pregnant or nursing, or if you have a condition such as active herpes, eczema or sunburn, please tell us. Withholding important information can turn an otherwise fine treatment into an unpleasant one, and we would rather adjust the plan than guess.
You should treat your consultation as a two way exchange. We will listen, and we will also give you a fair and realistic description of what your chosen service can and cannot do for your skin, including the number of sessions a goal may require and the time between them. We will never overstate an outcome to secure a booking.
What to Expect From a Treatment
A treatment session in our studio is a step by step process that follows a plan we have agreed with you. It typically begins with a check of your skin, includes cleansing, exfoliation or peeling steps, often a treatment mask or active serum and always a finish suited to the way your skin feels that day, followed by a recommendation for home care.
Many guests notice a calm luminous look immediately after a session, but the deeper results of a facial routine accumulate over several visits. We will describe the schedule we recommend and what each visit builds toward. We will also explain what is normal during recovery, such as the mild flaking that can follow a peel, so that a normal reaction does not alarm you.
Please tell us at once if you feel any discomfort, heat, stinging or anything unusual during a treatment. Every treatment can be adjusted, slowed or stopped at any point by you or by us. Your comfort and your skin matter more to us than finishing a fixed script, and we will always adapt when you speak up.
Guidance Is Not Medical Advice
The guidance we provide during a consultation, and the advice presented on this website, is professional esthetics guidance and not medical advice. Estheticians are trained in the care of the outer layers of the skin, and our recommendations operate within that specialty. They do not take the place of a diagnosis, a prescription or the opinion of a physician.
If you have a skin concern that suggests an underlying medical condition, such as a persistent rash, an unusual growth, a lesion that changes or a condition being treated by a doctor, we will tell you honestly that this is beyond our scope and encourage you to see a dermatologist or your primary care provider. Caring about you properly sometimes means knowing what we should not treat.
Please let us know if you are under the care of a medical professional for your skin at the time you book. In some cases we may ask for a note of clearance from your provider before we proceed with a treatment that could interact with their care.
Your Responsibilities as a Client
As a client, you have a role to play in the success of your treatment. We ask you to share accurate information about your skin and your health, to follow the preparation advice we give before a service, such as avoiding sunburn or strong actives, and to complete the home care we recommend between visits.
You also help us by attending the appointments you book, by arriving with enough time to check in, and by telling us promptly if your plans change. When many guests protect their booked time in this way, the whole schedule runs calmly and everyone gets the full length of treatment they were promised.
Finally, we ask you to treat our team and our studio with the same courtesy we extend to you. We welcome questions, we welcome second opinions and we welcome respectful disagreement, but we do not accept abusive, threatening or harassing behavior toward our staff. Anyone who behaves in that way may be asked to leave without a treatment and without a further appointment.
Cancellations and Rescheduling
We understand that life is unpredictable, and we want to be fair to you while also respecting the time we set aside. Because a missed appointment takes a slot that another guest could have used, we ask for twenty four hours of notice when you need to cancel or reschedule a standard service.
If you cancel a standard appointment with at least twenty four hours of notice, you will not be charged, and any booking deposit you paid will be refunded. If you cancel with less notice, or if you simply do not arrive, we may charge your card for a portion of the service or retain your deposit, because we kept that time open for you.
For long or involved services we may ask for a longer notice window, such as forty eight hours, so we can prepare properly. We will tell you the exact window for your service at the time you book. If we are the ones who need to cancel your appointment, we will always let you know as early as we can and will offer you an alternative time without any penalty.
Refunds and Gift Cards
Our policy is to make things right when a service does not meet a reasonable expectation. If you are unhappy with a treatment, please tell us within a few days of your visit and describe what concerned you. We will review the details and, where a genuine issue exists with the service we delivered, we will offer an appropriate remedy, which may be a corrective appointment or a partial or full refund.
Because the results of skin treatments unfold over time and depend on your home care, we cannot guarantee a specific cosmetic outcome, and we will be clear about that before a service begins. A refund is not available simply because you hoped for a result that differs from what we explained could realistically happen.
Gift cards and packages are treated as prepaid services. They may be used for any service we offer and do not typically carry an expiration date, unless we state otherwise in writing when you receive them. Once a service has been performed, unused value on a package is handled under the refund principles above.
Lateness Policy
We do our very best to run on time, because we know your schedule matters as much as ours. We ask that you arrive a little before your appointment, so that a brief consultation and any paperwork do not eat into your treatment time.
If you arrive late, your treatment may need to be shortened so that we do not delay the next guest. When that happens, the service is typically completed in the time that remains, and the full price still applies because we reserved the block and prepared the room for you.
If you are running more than a reasonable amount late and completing the service at all would push us well beyond our day, we may ask you to reschedule rather than rush a treatment. We would always rather perform your full service well on another day than perform half of it badly today.
Contraindications and Screening
A contraindication is a condition that makes a particular treatment unsafe or unwise for you, at least for the moment. Common contraindications for the stronger facial treatments include active infection, open sores, recent strong resurfacing, sunburn, certain medications and, for some services, pregnancy.
During your consultation we screen for contraindications, and we may also screen at the start of a future visit, because your skin changes with the seasons and with your routine. Where a contraindication is present, we will discuss a gentler service or a different timing with you rather than proceeding against your best interest.
You have the last word in every treatment, and we honour that. In the same spirit, our practitioners reserve the right to stop or decline a treatment if a contraindication surfaces in a way that makes the planned service hazardous. Refusing to take a risk with your skin is always a decision in your favour, even when it feels frustrating in the moment.
Use of This Website
You may use this website for legitimate personal purposes, which we encourage, including reading about our services, learning about our philosophy and contacting us to arrange a visit. We ask that you use the site honestly and do not interfere with its operation.
You agree not to attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the site, not to overload or disrupt our servers, not to use automated tools to scrape or mine large volumes of our content without permission, and not to place anything on the site that could harm another visitor or our systems. These rules are meant to keep the site working well for everyone.
We may limit or stop access to the site for any visitor who uses it in a way that is unlawful or that consistently interferes with others. We will give you notice where we reasonably can, and we will not exercise this right unfairly or to punish a person simply for asking a question.
Content and Intellectual Property
The written content, the design, the layout, the colors, the graphics and the overall look of this website belong to Ambiance Esthetics, Professional LLC and are protected by copyright law. You are welcome to view and share an individual page in a normal way, but you may not copy, reproduce, sell or republish the material in a commercial way without our written permission.
You may not use our name, our wordmark, our motto or our images in a way that suggests an endorsement by us or a connection to us that does not exist. If you would like to reference our studio in an article or a review, you are welcome to describe us honestly by name, but please do not imply that our materials are yours.
Nothing on this site grants you a license over our trademarks or our copyright. Where we are not the owner of something, such as a third party brand we mention in passing, that item belongs to its respective owner, and we do not claim it as our own.
Electronic Communications
By contacting us through our website, by email or by telephone, you are communicating with us electronically. We may reply to you by email, and we may send you confirmations and reminders about your appointments through the channels we agree with you.
Where the law requires written notice from us, an email message sent to the address you gave us is a form of written notice, provided it reaches that address in the ordinary way. We ask you to keep us informed of a current email address so that notices reach you without delay.
You agree that electronic records are acceptable for our ordinary communication and for confirming arrangements such as appointments and cancellations. Where a law specifically requires your original handwritten signature, such as on a particular treatment consent form, we will of course use that paper form as well.
Disclaimers of Warranty
We provide this website and the information on it on an as is and as available basis. While we work to keep the pages accurate and current, we make no warranty that the site will always be available, that it will be free of errors or that any detail, such as a price, a service description or an opening hour, will never become out of date between our updates.
The descriptions of treatments on the site are general in nature. Because each face and each course of care is different, no description can promise that you personally will experience a particular outcome. We discuss realistic expectations with you directly during your consultation, which is far more reliable than anything written on a page.
To the fullest extent allowed by law, and subject always to the rights that certain laws cannot give away, we disclaim warranties that we are not legally able to make. We do not promise endless or dramatic results, and we encourage you to weigh what we write here against the honest conversation we will have in person.
Limitation of Liability
We take our duty of care seriously and stand behind the professional work of our team. At the same time, facial treatments carry ordinary risks, and the law sets a frame around how much any business can be expected to answer for. We are responsible for loss or harm that is caused by our negligence, in line with the law of the state where we operate.
To the extent allowed by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses that are not a direct and foreseeable result of the service we provide. This can include loss of opportunity, discomfort caused by a normal reaction, or a result that depends on home care you did not follow. We will not limit our liability for anything the law does not permit us to limit, such as liability that cannot be waived by contract.
Nothing on this page removes any right you hold that the law does not allow a contract to remove. Where a limitation in these terms would be unenforceable for you, that limitation simply does not apply to you, and the rest of the terms continue to stand.
Indemnity and Release
When you use our site or receive our services, you agree to use them in the way these terms describe. If your own misuse of the site, or your failure to give us accurate health information that would have changed our decision to treat you, causes harm to us or to another person, you agree to answer for the portion of that harm that flows from your own action.
By participating in a fingerprinted consultation that involves signing a treatment consent or release where we provide one, you acknowledge that you have read what you signed and understood the service named in it. We will never present a consent form that is full of fine print, and we invite you to read it at your own pace and to ask about anything unclear.
Nothing in this release is intended to forgive negligence on our part, because a document cannot lawfully excuse a business from harm it causes through carelessness. What this release does is remind you that your choices and the normal, explained risks of a treatment belong to you as much as the enjoyment of the result.
Governing Law
These Terms of Service and any arrangement between you and Ambiance Esthetics, Professional LLC are governed by the laws of the State of Utah, without regard to the conflict of law rules that would choose the laws of another place. The legal home of our studio is West Valley City in Utah, and it is the natural and fair home for the rules that govern our relationship.
Governing law sounds formal, but it mostly answers a practical question: if a disagreement arose and the courts became involved, which body of law would guide the outcome. We choose the law of Utah because that is where our studio stands and where the services you receive are given.
By booking with us you accept that Utah law governs these terms. This does not give you fewer consumer protections than any law of your home state that cannot be waived, and we remain bound by mandatory rules of consumer protection wherever you live if they apply to us.
Dispute Resolution
We hope that a disagreement never arises, and our experience is that most concerns are resolved by a calm conversation. We will always begin there. If you are unhappy about a treatment, a charge or an interaction with our studio, please tell our team first so we have a chance to put things right in the way you feel is fair.
If a concern cannot be resolved through a direct conversation, the place to seek a remedy is the courts located in Utah, which have jurisdiction over any legal dispute about these terms or about our services. You agree that those courts are the appropriate venue for any legal claim you raise against us, and we will answer legal claims there too.
We encourage good faith and proportion at every stage. We will not use these dispute rules to make it unreasonably hard for you to raise a valid concern, and we ask only that you raise your concern with us directly and patiently before you take the formal path.
Severability
If a court or other authority decides that any single term or condition on this page is invalid, unlawful or unenforceable, that decision affects only that term. The remaining terms stay in full force and effect, and our relationship continues governed by everything that remains valid.
Where a term is found to be too broad, we intend it to be applied to the fullest extent that the law allows rather than to fail entirely. A court is invited to rewrite or limit the term to the smallest change that makes it lawful, preserving the balance between us that the original term tried to strike.
This severability rule stops one small flaw in this long document from bringing down the agreements that are otherwise valid. It is a practical safety net common to these kinds of terms, and it is included for the protection of both of us.
Entire Agreement
These Terms of Service set out the complete agreement between you and Ambiance Esthetics, Professional LLC about your use of this website and the general terms of our services. Together with any specific written consent form that applies to a particular treatment, they replace any earlier statements, promises or letters about the same subject.
If we tell you something friendly in passing that contradicts these terms, or if a marketing note promises more than these terms allow, these terms are the authority and they win. That is not because we are hiding behind the small print, but because these terms have been written carefully and reviewed, while a casual comment may have been offered without that care.
You can print or save these terms for your own records, and we encourage you to do so. Keeping a copy means you can always check what was agreed later, and the calm of knowing exactly where you stand is worth the small effort of saving a page.
